it’s the New Roger Williams Park Zoo!
The Zoo is the third oldest in the country and has entertained and educated kids and families for years. It’s been 25 years since the opening of the cornerstone polar bear exhibit and since the Zoo began garnering national attention.
There’s a whole lot happening and planned for the Zoo to make it a winning, world-class facility once again. Almost every area of the Zoo will be affected by the $35 million capital campaign and the changes are momentous – all aimed at enhancing the visitor’s experience and understanding of the natural world (especially children!).
